Zoo Fail

sometimes i try to be a fun mom and take the girls out and about to get them out of the house.  this morning i attempted to do something fun with them.  we got dressed, and headed out the door! the hogle zoo finally has the baby lions out + the weather today was perfect so i figured it would be a great zoo day!

 we got there and the giraffe's were out, wandering around which was so fun!! the baby giraffe is absolutely adorable! once we started moving to the next exhibit is when our fun zoo day started to go downhill!

olive was in her own world and kept running off or when it was time to move on i couldn't get her to come along with us.  it was a constant battle for about twenty minutes as we slowly made our way from one exhibit to the next. we barely made it past the monkey's before i decided to throw in the towel and head home.

 

too much crying, too much not listening, and too much running away for me to handle on top of keeping an eye on miss scotti girl and making sure she was having fun too!! we'll try it another day, i guess!
