10 things to do in utah

heeeeeeeyyy friends!! so today's post is all about attractions in the northern part of utah.  we live just outside of salt lake city and have our entire lives. now that we have little munchkins- we want to be sure we let them explore and experience all the fun things that we did growing up!

so i put together a list of our top ten favorite things to do in northern utah!! don't you worry we'll get to the southern half, because honestly down south is my favorite! ;)

#1. Antelope Island State Park- speaking of the island, the girls and i just went exploring yesterday. they had an absolute ball looking at all the bison, it was so much fun because we had a few of them cross the road right in front of us!!

#2. Pineview Reservoir- we are definitely boat people.  we both always have been.  pineview is one of our favorite spots to go.  there is lots of beach and camping options. ahhh just thinking about it brings back lots of memories and i can't wait to get out there!

#3. The Hogle Zoo- zoo's aren't dave's thing.  but i have always loved them!  they have been remodeling and updating The Hogle Zoo over the last few years and it's so much fun to see what they've done.  i love taking the girls!

#4. Crystal Hot Springs- dave and i went to crystal hot springs with a bunch of his friends way back when.  we had just started dating, and it's probably one of my favorite memories with him.

#5. Bear Lake- definitely has to be in our favorite top ten things to do!! the lake is absolutely beautiful year round- however it does freeze over. we love getting shakes and burgers while we are visiting!! Boating, Camping, Snowmobiling, and so much more is available at Bear Lake!

#6. Lagoon Amusement Park-  dave and i were thinking about getting a season pass to lagoon this summer. i haven't been in years and i want to enjoy it with my little family before dave and i get too old and can't handle the rides anymore.  i absolutely love lagoon-a-beach and i am positive the girls will too. especially with all the slides.

#7. Park City- i'm not sure why i didn't put this at the top of our list, because we head up to park city for little getaways multiple times a year. it's our place to go to get a little getaway.  we absolutely love staying at the Marriott Mountainside Resort. we try to stay there whenever we go, but it's not always available.  The Alpine Slide is a fun activity to do while there.  Our favorite restaurant there is the Baja Cantina !! so yummy!

#8. Thanksgiving Point- this is a great option for families and kids!! Thanksgiving Point has the Museum of Ancient Life, the Ashton Gardens, the Museum of Natural Curiosity, the Tulip Festival and much more!!

#9. Cherry Hill- has a water park with water slides, a lazy river, and a children's water playground.  cherry hill also offers miniature golf, batting cages, and rock climbing!! Camping is also available!

#10. Shopping!! Duh, everyone needs to shop! There is lots of shopping available in Utah.  my favorite's are farmington's Station Park, and salt lake's City Creek Center.
