Half Way Bump Date

we've hit the half way mark in this pregnancy, and i say we cause we're all in this together! ;) i'm technically 21 weeks now and we have t-minus 18 weeks until baby girl arrives.... or maybe sooner if she wants to be like her sister olive! ;)

baby girl is the size of a large carrot. my favorite baby app to track this pregnancy is the 'what to expect' app. i went and bought my first pair of maternity jeans a couple weeks ago for when i'm not wearing my amazing align pants from lulu lemon. i found that h&m has a really great selection of maternity clothes all around. i loved everything i saw!

we had our 20 week big anatomy ultra sound last week and it was so fun to see her!! i am so obsessed with her already and imagine holding her in my arms all the time! she was in a very uncomfortable position the entire time (see photo above!!) she was a bit incorporative and the doctor wasn't able to see everything she wanted so i get to go back next week! (insert clapping emoji!)  we learned that she has been extremely low, in fact basically right behind my incision from my previous c sections hence the reason i have barely been feeling anything but flutters (if anything at all!) luckily this week she has been kicking a lot more and i have been feeling it which i am loving!! dave and i went to see power rangers over the weekend, baby was moving around in there like crazy and dave was able to feel it for the first time!! yayyy!! olive was able to feel her kick this morning as well and she was in heaven!!

best moment of the week? being able to feel her move. i haven't really been craving anything specific except dr. pepper. i am definitely getting nice and plump, and i've gained just about 20 pounds already. i expect to gain at least 20 more! i gained about 50ish pounds with scotti lou and only 20 with olive!! although it's not my favorite, it's not a big deal to me. i know i will be able to lose the weight once baby girl arrives! and stretch marks? still no new ones! i have been using coconut oil all over to help prevent anything new!

IT'S A GIRL || GENDER REVEAL

GUYS!!!! we are having another GIRL!! what?! i was pretty convinced this one was a boy, or maybe i was just REALLY hoping for a little guy. but we're just really good at making girls over here! ;)

we are so so excited!! we love doing the whole girl thing and this is an excuse for buying more BOWS and more PINK! once Olive got over the "but i wanted it to be a boy!!" she hasn't been able to stop talking about her new baby sister coming in august! she keeps asking, "how many more days?!" (we've still got a long while sister! ha!!)

we decided to do the confetti balloons for our gender reveal!! it was so fun getting all the supplies ready + we made our own confettti out of tissue paper. Olive loved stuffing the balloons with all the confetti! and the little ones had a blast popping all the balloons and watching them explode! we can't wait to meet baby girl!!

First Trimester: BUMP DATE

oh hi! it's been a while hasn't it? i guess i haven't even officially announced it yet here on my blog, SURPRISE!! Baby Number THREE is coming!!!! oh we are all so excited over here at the Eggett house!

i loveeeee reading and watching bump dates + i am super excited to do them one last time! i feel like i have already been pregnant forever and should be further along than i am. my pregnancies are pretty rough in the beginning- my "morning sickness" is actually "all day long sickness" and it's pretty bad. i won't get into the details but nothing stays down! ;) with both my girls it actually lasted 20+ weeks. eeeeek! luckily this time around it has slowly subsided and i am feeling lots better!!! still nauseous but NOTHING compared to what it was! thank the heavens! i am finally into the second trimester!!!

if you want fashion advice from me the next 6 months i can guarantee you it might be something similar to this. i must tell you, these align pants from lululemon are seriously HEAVENLY! no really. how i have lived all these years without them pregnant or not, i will never know!! they are the softest pair i have + they don't cut off my circulation around the belly. i love that they will grow with me as i get bigger also. i never want to take them off!!

due date? august 16, 2017

how many weeks? 14 weeks 2 days

baby is the size of? lemon! approximately 3 inches + 1.5 oz)

maternity clothes? i have been wearing leggings and t-shirts! planning on purchasing some new maternity clothes this week.

movement? pretty positive i felt a little flutter last night while laying in bed... i am thinking it's still too soon to feel too much!

best moment of the week? hearing little baby's heart beat at my monthly doctor appointment on monday!

anything make you queasy? sugar! treats! processed foods!

cravings? the yellow chili peppers from in-n-out, cucumbers and eggs + toast!

weight gain? about 6 pounds so far i'm assuming- i never checked my weight before i got pregnant!

stretch marks? no new ones so far!

looking forward to? finding out the gender in a few weeks!!
